George has excellent subject knowledge and always considers planning for learning incredibly carefully. He explains concepts with great clarity and uses common misconceptions effectively to help promote students’ learning. The classes I have watched have always been incredibly purposeful and focused on ensuring students understand and apply their learning effectively. As a result his students achieve very well in their GCSEs and in their end of unit tests. 

George maintains fabulous working relationships with both his colleagues and with students. He shows genuine warmth, care, and concern for the students in his care. I have always struggled with maths and had no confidence in my ability. I was dreading my GCSE exams, convinced I had no hope of passing. My mum suggested I had a tutor to support me and that’s  when I started working with George.
